Kory is a California native of 40 years turned wannabe Texan in 2017. Ever since then she has been emerged in learning more about this diverse Houston market and building her business, but more importantly she says “building relationships,” she adds “I love the people in Texas and their Texas sized hearts. Being able to come into their homes and have the opportunity to create spaces for them and their families gives me great joy.” Her style is a mix of her California roots, casual and comfortable luxury, fused with the tailored traditional lines of Texas opulence. Creating a chic yet comfortable and upscale space is what she does best. Her inspiration she says, “It’s between the branches of beautiful oak trees that diffuses light and creates a textured tapestry on the landscape. It’s warm summer nights staring at the stars while the cicadas sing. It’s the green grass and antique shopping in Roundtop, the bustling of the city in Dallas, the nights on the river walk in San Antonio. Street art, pops ups shops, Hotel Saint Cecilia in Austin, and art installations at the Menil House, my inspiration is everywhere in Texas!!”
Kory currently reside in Katy, Texas a suburb of Houston. She shares her heart and home with her husband of 19 years, Geoff, her four incredible daughters and one sweet beagle named Chloe.
She is currently a proud board member for Trees of Hope. An organization that transform lives with fundraising and outreach activities for the exclusive benefit of children’s programs at Star of Hope, Houston’s largest mission for the homeless.
